Who can go? Anyone! 7+years old welcome to help build

Cost: $230 per person  **we have scholarships available so everyone can go, kids 11 and under are free

($200/ person to OM, plus transportation, (gas, mexico auto insurance) & extra meals)

Lodging/Meals provided by the OneMission base camp - basic bunkhouses, RV sites, tent camping dining hall, showers, pool area. For more info see www.onemission.us. ONLY drink bottled or filtered water.

http://travel.state.gov/passport/

ALL ADULTS traveling by land and sea outside of the United States are required to present a passport to enter or re-enter the United States. Children under age 16 will be able to continue crossing land and sea borders using only a U.S. birth certificate (or other form of U.S. citizenship such as a naturalization certificate.). The original birth certificate or a copy may be used.

Transportation - we'll carpool, every vehicle needs Mexico auto insurance (~$70/weekend/vehicle)

Preparation/Training - we'll meet 2 times to prepare/ train, with a focus on heart/spiritual preparation

If you have construction experience, please let Jay Silverman know.

Safety -the road quality is good, lots of Americans travel back and forth every day, and many live in Rocky Point, full or part time -we won't spend any time in the border town -the violence being reported in Mexico has been fighting drug cartels and has very little effect on Rocky Point (not a drug route).

Phone access -cell phone coverage: depends on your carrier, AT&T coverage is very good if you pay the International roaming.

Questions? Contact Jay Silverman, jay.silverman@gmail.com, 480-619-2995.
